The medieval tower of Portixedda

The medieval tower of Portixedda is one of the few remains of the old city walls, a defensive structure with four entrance doors and 28 guard towers. The original square-plan tower was built in the 13th century, but the present circular tower dates back to the period of Spanish dominion.
