Eleonora de Bas- Serra, wife of the noble Genoese Brancaleone Doria, ruled as regent for her under age two sons. Eleonora continued the war against tha Catalan- Aragonese until the peace treaty in 1388: during that period of peace she updated the Carta de Logu, a civil and criminal code wrote by her father, king Mariano II. She died in 1403-1404 victim of the plague.
The route begins in the Church and Hospital of Sant’Antonio and continues with the Church of San Francesco, the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, the Church of Santa Chiara, Piazza de Sa Majoria (the present piazza Manno) where the castle, the tower of San Filippo, Porta Mari and the Church of San Martino rose.
