In 1947 the nobleman Angelo Carta donated a valuable archaeological collection to the Antiquarium Arborense.
Particularly important are a black-painted Attic guttus with leonine protome (end of the 5th century BC), an Athenian oil lamp and goblet (5th century BC), a green glass cinerary urn (second half of the 1st century AD), some Roman Imperial oil lamps and a number of Roman pieces of pottery found in several tombs.
